Photographers, we welcome you to the farm to embrace nature in your photo sessions. Please review the following information before planning sessions:
Photographer Price: During our Summer and Fall season photographers pay the same admission fee as other visitors during regular open hours. The fee is currently $22.00 per person, cash discount offered. The admission fee includes photography opportunities & U- Pick Flowers. Each of your clients (12 years +) entering the flower farm requires a ticket, kids age 11 and under are FREE.
Group pricing is available for parties of 5 or more (ages 12+). Tickets must be purchased together to receive group discount. Group pricing DOES NOT apply to photographers paying for their clients doing multiple sessions/ mini sessions, unless the single family has 5 or more clients (ages 12+). Cash discount offered. Photographers are responsible for communicating this with their clients.
Photographers are welcome to host multiple sessions with different clients during your visit during regular open hours only. Your admission is valid until exiting. You are welcome to pack a lunch and stay until your next clients arrive as long as it coordinates with our open hours. If you wish to leave and return later in the day for more sessions, you will need to pay for another ticket when you choose to return. Your ticket covers the daily flower cutting limit for yourself only.
At this time, Photographers DO NOT need to book with the flower farm prior to arriving during REGULAR OPEN HOURS. You are able to arrive for your sessions during any of our posted planned open hours of operation. Contacting us prior DOES NOT GUARANTEE that we can be open, only if you have booked a session with us outside of regular hours, we will communicate if there is any reason to need to reschedule your visit. Please, complete your session and exit the property by the closing time for the day.
PAYING FOR YOUR CLIENTS: If you are planning to do multiple sessions/ mini sessions in one day and you want to pay for your client’s entry, we have 2 options:
Option 1. You will need come back up to the ticket booth or have designated help when each of your clients arrive to pay for each of your clients/ families BEFORE they are allowed entry into the field.
Option 2. You MUST contact us AHEAD OF TIME for this option. Let us know: your name OR photography company name, a last name for each of your client groups and how many tickets you will be covering for each group. You will pay for any clients you want to cover when you arrive. We will keep the list of the names you provide for your paid clients at the ticket booth. When your clients arrive, they will need to come to the ticket booth to check in. They will need to know the name you provided us and your photography name. We will provide them with the allotted number of entries that you paid for. *If your client has an additional guest with them, they will be required to buy a ticket for them to enter. Be sure to explain this to your clients ahead of time.
EXTENDED VISIT: For photographers that want to stay a little longer than our scheduled open hours planned for the day. Please reach out ahead to see if we can accommodate your extended visit. Pricing to be updated.
FOR PHOTO SESSIONS OUTSIDE OF OUR REGULAR PLANNED HOURS:
Please Facebook message, call or text 804-800-7425, to see if we can accommodate your desired time frame for sessions outside of regular hours. Availability for private booking is limited.
There is an accommodation fee of $125/hr. Booking outside of regular hours is intended for a single session/client /individual family. If you desire to book outside of regular hours for multiple sessions/ families, there is an additional charge of $20/ per person (ages 12 +). If you plan to pick flowers, please be sure to factor in enough time for your photo sessions & flowers picking within your scheduled time slot. Bring your own bucket & clippers!
Deposit of $50 due at the time of booking BEFORE your date will be reserved. Your deposit will go toward your remaining balance. Balance is due prior to the start of your scheduled time slot. Due to the preparation that goes into accommodating private bookings, your $50 deposit is non-refundable unless the session is canceled on our behalf.
Cancelation of Booking: We do not generally cancel or move sessions due to rain or weather forecast; this is a risk you take when booking outside. Only in the event of severe weather will we contact you to cancel a session. Deposits are non-refundable, even in the event of bad weather. Only if cancellation is due to an emergency on our behalf will deposit be refunded. Reschedule dates for unforeseen cancelation will require a new deposit.
Please Note: Please plan accordingly to have your photo sessions completed & exit the property by the daily closing time or within the scheduled time frame booked. The parking area is also a gated part of the farm. Please plan to exit promptly at the end of your scheduled time slot.
Photographers and their clients please remain within the permitted flower farm parameters for all photos. The surrounding property and buildings are private property.
Photographers can bring small props to the farm if desired. If you wish to utilize anything larger than a bench for your session, please contact us to discuss if we can accommodate.
We encourage you to tag “The Perfect Picks Flower Farm” in your photos taken at the farm.
We do not ask other visitors to leave the farm while photography sessions are being held during regular hours.
We reserve the right to share photos taken at our flower farm on our social media pages and website. We suggest watermarking your photos so you can be credited for your work.
