What is this place?

We are a seasonal Pick-Your-Own flower farm. Mid-June through July is our peak season. Bring your own bucket & clippers to personally pick your favorite flowers to take home. We offer a variety of blooms for pick- your- own opportunities. Typical flower varieties we have during the summer season are Zinnia, Cosmo, Daisys, Celosia, single stem/ branching Sunflowers, & mixed Wildflowers. These blooms are everchanging throughout our open season and controlled by nature.

We offer Dahlias by stem upon availability for purchase & in pre-arranged bouquets only.

During early fall we will have a Sunflowers, Zinnias & Pumpkins.

What do I need to bring?

1.*Please bring your own clippers & bucket 5 gallon or smaller for your flowers.
2.Water for drinking and a little water for your flowers to ride home.
3.Gardening gloves are optional.
4.Wear shoes that you can walk in the fields with and get dirty. 
5. Sunscreen and hats encouraged.
6. Insect spray if desired. 
7.Long pants suggested. 

What is the price?

*Paid admission is required upon entry for ALL guest (ages 12+) even if you do not pick flowers. NO “just looking”. WHY? Because it cost us lots of time, money and hard work all year to get the farm prepared for guest enjoyment. 

Ages 11 and under are free with a paid responsible adult. Children may not bring their own bucket. They may help you fill yours. If you would like your child to be able to fill their own bucket you can purchase an additional “bucket ticket” for 25% Off. 

If you want to fill an additional bucket, pay for a 2nd “bucket ticket” at 25% Off.

GROUP PRICING– for parties of 5 or more (ages 12+), the first 4 tickets will be regular price, any additional tickets in your party after 4 will be 50% Off. Discount cannot be split if your party is paying separately. Your group must purchase tickets together to receive group discount.

I <3 FLOWERS PASS– 7 visits for $100 cash/card (a $154 value).
DETAILS:
-Valid during 2023 season ONLY, during regular hours of operation.
-Pass includes Pick-Your- Own-Flowers within permitted areas (bring your own clippers & bucket 5 gallon or smaller).
-Pass CANNOT be shared amongst individuals. Please present a picture ID each visit.
-Passes will not be replaced if lost.
-NO REFUNDS FOR UN-USED VISITS

Do you provide refunds?

ALL sales are final. We DO NOT provide refunds. Accommodation fee for photography sessions booked outside of regular hours is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date in the event you are unable to make it to the original booked session time. We do not close or cancel session for light rain. 

When will you be open?

Our flower farm is a seasonal experience.  We anticipate our flower season starting around mid/late June – August. We will re-open in Fall for a short period with Sunflowers. 

Throughout the seasons our hours will be weather dependent.
We typically remain open for light rain. Picking in the rain is ACTUALLY the best.

Do we offer photo sessions at the Farm?

Photographers of your choice are able to plan your photo session at the flower farm during our regular hours of operation without additional cost.

For sessions outside of regular hours, please contact us to see if we can accommodate. There will be an additional accommodation fee for sessions outside of our regular business hours.

Price of photography session, times for arrival and payments for photography should be communicated amongst photographer/ clients directly.

* Paid admission required for all guest entries (ages 12+), even for photo opportunities. We offer group pricing for parties of 5 or more (ages 12+). Tickets must be purchased together for group pricing.

Is the farm handicap accessible?

Our farm and parking area have some uneven terrain and grass in many areas, however the main path around the flower field is fairly hard and compressed. The main paths offer plenty of space for wheelchair access. If the chair is manually operated, it may be best to have assistance available to help get the chair through the paths. The main path does offer access to multiple varieties of flowers that can be reached for cutting as well. We do not have any paved areas or sidewalks on site. 

Do you allow field trips?

We are a small family-owned business. While we would love to have you visit us and welcome you, we ask that you reach out to us to discuss any field trips with a large number of children before planning to come. Young children must be accopanied at all times while visiting the farm. Chaperones would be required for large groups with children. After speaking, we can see how we can best accommodate your visit. 

Are my pets allowed?

NO, we’re sorry, as much as we love our animals and know you love yours; we cannot allow you to bring your pets to The Perfect Picks Flower Farm at this time. This is for the safety of all visitors and not allowed by our insurers at this time. 

Do you have a restroom?

We have a port-a-potty on site.  Cleaned frequently.

Do you have a snack stand?

We sell light refreshments and cold treats at our ticket booth. 

Where is The Perfect Picks Flower Farm located?

We are located in Prince George, Virginia. Our Farm is off of Merchants Hope Rd., directly Across from Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Church.
